That Rocks!

We have gotten all sorts of great deals, and sold things on Kijiji. From musical instruments to wheel barrels. It's almost a weird rush when you score a great deal... However, this has got to be THE BEST one yet! I got 50$ for.... wait for it.... a ROCK! hahaha... Seriously. It was this large rock I wanted out of my flower bed, and almost as a joke I put it on Kijiji for Free. Strangely, I received several interested e-mails. Particularly one from this lady who was ecstatic about having this rock. She offered me 50$ for a "Free Rock" if I could deliver it! She basically lived 2 mins away... So Mike and Joe delivered it... and got 50$ for a free rock. Haha.... I would pay someone to take it off my hands.

Sunny Saturday with Sar!

Such a beautiful Saturday! Mike's out of town until the afternoon, so Sar came over to help me with a bit of yard work. She broke all the slate that I needed to outline the flowerbed, and showed Avery how to pick dandelions! They picked ALL of the dandelions in the backyard!! It's never to early to teach Avery to help out! Maybe next week she'll mow the lawn...

Kitty treat.

Let's be honest, I'm not really the biggest cat fan. When I say really, I mean... not at all.
So you can imagine my thoughts, when I wake up to this little gift on the side of my house. Compliments of our neighbors cat.

Seriously...I don't usually get grossed out easily...But for some reason this made me a bit queezy!
Just the thought of Avery finding this treat before me, made me cringe.
So I did what any non-cat lover, protective Mom would do...
I scooped up this filthy treat, with a shovel... Then tossed it in my neighbors backyard...Oops.

Good thing I didn't see the cat while I had the shovel... Although, the thought of the owner walking in the backyard in her bare feet made me smile...

Smart phone

Careful when Avery plays with your phone. She's smarter that you think! She could be racking up some serious long distance to China. Here's her call history in the past 5 mins... She managed to leave everyone here a reaaaally long boring message. Your welcome everyone.
So, if you get pocket called by Mike or me... now you know who it really is!

So, I come home from church to see a banner, a card and beautiful bright vibrant flowers! Aww, thanks Mike!
Oh, and yesterday I got the best Mother's day gift!! (Mike couldn't keep it a surprise, he was so excited. I got it a day early!) ......Drum Sound Off's!!! I can now practice when Avery is sleeping!! Or maybe I'm that bad, that's Mike's polite way of not hearing me... meh, I can take a hint. Either way, good gift Mike I love it!



Oh, how nice Avery helped you make cupcakes! That's precious... Nope. I wish I could hide behind my daughter for these cupcakes. I'll claim it tho. I made these gems ALL by myself! No help. Cooking & baking is not exactly where I shine. But, the good thing is it can only get better from here!

Let me go ahead and answer! The crotch... Yep, I walked around like my thighs were glued together. Guess I fit in, people probably assumed I was on something.

It really was a BLAST! Thanks Theo for spoiling us with box seats & pizza!!
The box seats, and the amazing drummer who opened for Lil' Wayne were really the highlight for me!









While we were gone, the girls must have planned to meet up at the park... Both babysitters got coaxed into taking them at the same time. Too cute! :)
